At what age can you use VENYA?
Our skin begins to age in our mid-twenties, and from this point on, you can benefit from our products.
VENYA can, of course, also be used on younger skin.VENYA skincare has a pH value of 4.9 and helps support the barrier function and strengthen the microbiome balance, thereby maintaining the skin's ecological equilibrium. We deliberately refrain from using fragrances, artificial dyes, polyethylene glycols, and
emulsifiers that can disrupt the skin's sensitive lipid structure.
Silicones and mineral oils are intentionally excluded. -
Can I use the products individually or only as a complete skincare line?
All VENYA products are designed to build upon and support each other in their efficacy. We recommend using VENYA products in the 5-step routine. However, the products can also be used individually. In that case, we advise at least ensuring that you also use pH-acidic products as a supplement. Occasionally, with special formulations or active ingredients, the expected effect may suddenly not occur. This can be due to a skincare product that might prevent the comprehensive activation of the proven product in its mode of action.

How long does it take for the skin to adapt to VENYA products?
This varies from person to person. As a rule, the skin needs about 2-3 weeks to adjust. During this time, skin irregularities such as small pimples may occur. Visible improvement should be seen after six weeks at the latest.

Why does VENYA not contain an SPF (Sun Protection Factor)?
Sun protection is important whenever we are exposed to direct sunlight. A good indicator for deciding whether additional sun protection is needed is the UV index – if it is higher than three, sun protection should be applied when exposed to direct sunlight. Indoors or when the UV index is lower than three, the natural skin protection is usually sufficient, and the skin benefits ideally from the acidic pH value of our products. Tip: most weather apps provide information about the UV index.

Are the products comedogenic?
No, all products are non-comedogenic.

Why do VENYA products not contain fragrances?
Fragrances are part of our everyday life. Be it in perfumes, in nature, or in everyday products. We often associate them with a certain effect – but this connection is false. Regardless of their natural or non-natural origin, fragrances have no effect in skincare and can irritate or even inflame the skin. Therefore, no fragrances are used in any VENYA products.

Are VENYA products tested on animals?
VENYA does not conduct any animal testing. In the entire European Union, it has been prohibited since March 11, 2013, to market cosmetic products whose ingredients or combinations of ingredients have been tested on animals.

Is there a list of all ingredients?
Accompanying the description of each product in our online shop, we provide a complete list of ingredients, abbreviated INCI. Whenever we believe that an active ingredient requires a more in-depth explanation, we have also listed it under "Active Ingredients" on the product pages. Our customer service will be happy to answer further questions about ingredients and their effects.

My skin still feels stressed even after prolonged use. What should I do?
Skin is always a reflection of holistic well-being. If something gets out of balance, our skin is a good indicator of it. Irritated areas, itchy spots, an uneven complexion, redness – all of this can indicate that internal factors are becoming visible externally. A holistic approach that minimizes negative influences such as nicotine, alcohol, stress, medication, etc., and amplifies positive influences such as exercise, meditation, inner contentment, and adequate hydration, forms the basis for healthy skin. Everything we can do from the outside, we considered during the development of VENYA and aligned our formulas accordingly.

Why might the cream burn on the skin at first?
A slight burning sensation after applying the cream may occur, especially if the skin barrier is compromised. If the skin barrier is weakened, it may initially perceive the active ingredients more intensely. This sensation should subside over time as the skin regenerates and repairs itself.
With regular use of VENYA, the skin barrier is strengthened, so the burning sensation usually disappears after a few days to weeks. -
What does a compromised skin barrier mean?
The skin's barrier function is impaired if there are insufficient lipids. This allows moisture to escape more easily through the skin, and the skin can become dry, cracked, and sensitive. The penetration of allergens and microorganisms can also be promoted by a compromised skin barrier.

Are VENYA products also suitable for men's skin?
In fact, VENYA products are also suitable for men's skin – our men are just as enthusiastic and convinced as we are 😊.

Why might the color of the serum change slightly over time?
Our serum may darken minimally with continued use.
This is because our product undergoes a natural oxidation process. The effectiveness of our serum is not affected by the color change.

I'm getting very little serum from the dropper. What should I do?
The formulation of our serum is slightly thicker than other serums. To fill the pipette, it must first be emptied.
To do this, simply pull out the pipette slightly and press the pipette bulb. Keep the bulb pressed and reinsert the pipette into the serum. Now release, and the pipette will fill with the serum.

Is it possible to have VENYA products sent automatically (subscription)?
We do not currently offer a subscription service.

How do I get VENYA product samples?
Unfortunately, we do not currently send product samples. However, we do offer the option to return products within 4 weeks of use if you are not satisfied with them or if they cause any adverse reactions.

Where are VENYA products manufactured?
All products are manufactured exclusively in Germany. We prioritize the shortest possible transport routes to avoid unnecessarily burdening our environment.

Are VENYA packages recyclable?
At VENYA, we have ensured that the individual components can be separated. This means that glass, plastic, and cardboard can each be disposed of separately through the appropriate regional waste disposal channels.

Are VENYA packages recycled?
As sustainability is very important to us, we have thoroughly investigated packaging materials. The outer packaging of the creams and serum is made of 100% recycled material. The plastic containers are not currently made of recycled material. In Germany, unfortunately, only about 16 percent of plastic waste is reused. Therefore, there is not enough recycled material from which we could produce recycled packaging. Importing it, for example from the USA and China, would cause higher CO2 emissions than using non-recycled material. However, as soon as we have the opportunity to switch to recycled material without causing higher CO2 emissions, we will definitely do so.

Is sodium carbomer a microplastic?
We also have a great interest in not using microplastics or other harmful ingredients, and we do not.
Sodium Carbomer is a water-soluble component that thickens formulations. Neither BUND (Friends of the Earth Germany), nor the Federal Environmental Agency, nor retailers classify this raw material as microplastic or warn against its use.
We know that there is a lot of misinformation surrounding microplastics and that consumers are (deliberately) being made to feel insecure. In general, we work very closely with our manufacturers and constantly review all formulations – and if necessary, we would adjust them immediately.

Is phenoxyethanol harmful to my skin?
Phenoxyethanol is a compound of ether and alcohol. Phenoxyethanol is effective against both gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria and yeasts – precisely what we don't want in our products. Despite its strong antimicrobial effect, it has little impact on our resident skin flora. According to the latest research findings, phenoxyethanol can be used safely at concentrations of up to 1%. It can even be considered one of the best-tolerated preservatives in cosmetic products. This applies to all consumers – including children of all ages.

How should VENYA products be stored?
VENYA products should be stored at room temperature and not exposed to direct sunlight.

How long do VENYA products last?
For products with a minimum shelf life of more than 30 months, the PAO (period after opening) is indicated on the packaging. The product quality of VENYA products is guaranteed for 6 months after the first opening.

My cream smells different than usual. Is this concerning?
Due to the fragrance-free formulation, the product may have minimal variations in scent depending on the batch. The inherent smell of the active ingredients may occasionally be more noticeable. This does not affect the efficacy.

Can I have my order delivered abroad?
Orders from www.venya.de can currently only be delivered within Germany and Austria.

How can I return VENYA products?
To receive a return label, please contact our customer service (shop@venya.de, phone: +49 (0)800-5889502), stating the reason for the return. For more information, please check our Returns Policy.

Can I return the products after testing them?
We are convinced of the effectiveness of VENYA products and want you to be completely satisfied as well.
Should you, contrary to expectations, not be satisfied after testing the products, we offer you the option (without prejudice to your statutory rights, in particular your rights concerning defects and your consumer right of withdrawal) to return the products within 4 weeks of purchase. You can do this as follows:
1. Send us an email at shop@venya.de. We would appreciate a note explaining why you wish to return the products.
You are also welcome to inform our customer service about your return by phone at +49 800-5889502.
2. You will receive a return label from our customer service. The return shipping is therefore free for you.
3. After receiving the goods, we will confirm the return and refund the purchase price.
Promotions and Discounts

If I return something, can I keep the freebies?
Free product additions granted in the online shop (if applicable, from a certain minimum order value) can only be claimed during the online ordering process and within the specified validity period. The available goodies will be displayed to you during the ordering process. We only grant goodies while supplies last. If no goodie is selected or the associated discount code is rejected, you will no longer be entitled to the free gift after completing your order. A cash payout of the value is excluded.
Free gifts sent by us that come with certain products are explicitly tied to the purchase of a specific product. In the event of a return of the said item, the associated gifts must also be returned. You must also return gifts that are tied to a certain minimum order value if the required purchase value falls below that value due to a return. Otherwise, we will charge you for the value of the gift. -
What are the discount conditions in the online shop?
Insofar as we grant you discounts (possibly from a certain minimum order value) in the online shop at our sole discretion, you can only claim these within the scope of the online ordering process and during the specified validity period according to the following conditions: The discount code can be entered in the coupon field in the shopping cart during the ordering process. We grant the discount temporarily. The respective discount conditions are stated in the communication measure and can be viewed in our General Terms and Conditions under point 7.1. The discount may also depend on the value of your order, the items ordered or other promotion rules. If products are not available, you are not entitled to subsequent performance.
